Construction of industrial parks is to be speeded up all-sidedly,the provincial
economic development zone is to be expanded up to 40.19sqkm.The northern section
and eastern section of international auto car and motocycle parts park has been
started,effectively accepted the industry shift in Wenzhou.Zhejiang Ruian Economic
Development Zone is a provincial development zone sponsored by Ruian People's
Government. It's located in the river area in the east of the city,with planned
area upto 40.19sqkm. With the development and construction in recent years, the
zone has already come to shape as a mordern industrial zone,and becomes the window
for opening to the outside,base for production elevation, and leading factor of
industrial economy. By the end of the year 2002, there're total 115 enterprises
introduced to this the area,the scale of investment is up to 0.98 billion in which
foreign investment in 9 projects is 6.67 millions of agreement amount and 4.67
millions of virtually used amount. It's expected total enterprises introduced
the zone will be up to 500 with fixed capital investment amount upto 6.3 billion
within 5 years, in which foreign-invested enterprises should be upto 50,contractual
foreign investment should be upto 50millions and virtually used foreign investment
should be upto 30 millions. And, by 2007,the total industrial output value should
exceed 100 billions with tax exceeding 0.5 billion. The city is striving to cultivate
modern metropolitan producton by way of performing the framework of "One
City, Five Towns;Six Zones,ten Parks"
